Registering a Domain in AWS Route 53

Now that we understand how DNS works, let’s explore Amazon Route 53 by registering a domain. This process allows us to purchase and manage domain names directly in AWS, making it easier to configure DNS settings and integrate with AWS services.


Step 1: Accessing Route 53

  1. Log in to AWS Console and navigate to Route 53.
  2. On the left sidebar, click “Register Domain” to begin the registration process.
  3. If AWS prompts you to use the new console experience, enable it.
