Steps to Create an AWS Account

1. Specify the Root User Email

• Root Email Address: Use your primary email address to set up the account. This will be your main login credential for AWS.
• Account Name: Choose a name for your account, e.g., stefane-demo-v3.

2. Verify Your Account

• Set Root User Password:
  • Create a strong password and confirm it.
  • Keep both your email address and root password secure, as they are critical for account access.

3. Enter Account Details

• Personal or Business Account:
  • For this course, select Personal Account.
  • Provide your personal details as requested.

4. Add Credit Card Information

• Payment Details:
  • Enter your credit card details. A $1 authorization charge will be placed on your card.
  • This is not a real charge but a pending transaction that will be canceled.
• Free Tier Usage:
  • As long as you stay within AWS Free Tier limits, you won’t incur any charges.
