Steps to Create an AWS Account
1. Specify the Root User Email
- Root Email Address: Use your primary email address to set up the account. This will be your main login credential for AWS.
- Account Name: Choose a name for your account, e.g.,

2. Verify Your Account
- Set Root User Password:
- Create a strong password and confirm it.
- Keep both your email address and root password secure, as they are critical for account access.
3. Enter Account Details
- Personal or Business Account:
- For this course, select Personal Account.
- Provide your personal details as requested.
4. Add Credit Card Information
- Payment Details:
- Enter your credit card details. A $1 authorization charge will be placed on your card.
- This is not a real charge but a pending transaction that will be canceled.
- Free Tier Usage:
- As long as you stay within AWS Free Tier limits, you won’t incur any charges.
