Lab Goal

By the end of this lab, you will have:

• A working Ubuntu Linux system
• Installed inside a virtual machine
• Ready for the rest of the course

No prior knowledge is required.

The goal is a working environment, not speed.

Prerequisites

Before starting, make sure you have:

• A personal computer (Windows / macOS / Linux)
• Stable internet connection
• At least 30–40 GB free disk space
• Administrator permissions on your computer
• Patience 🙂

Step 1 – Download VirtualBox

1. Open a web browser

2. Search for:

   VirtualBox download

3. Open the official Oracle VirtualBox website
