Lab Goal

By the end of this lab, you will have:

• A GitHub account
• Git installed on your computer
• Basic confirmation that everything works

No prior knowledge is required.

The goal is setup and readiness, not usage.

Prerequisites

Before starting, make sure you have:

• A computer with internet access
• A web browser
• Administrator permissions on your computer

Part 1 – Create a GitHub Account

Step 1 – Open GitHub Website

1. Open a web browser

2. Go to:

   <https://github.com>
   

3. Click Sign up
